Enid L. Beal,President

Ms. Beal is the president and founder of Beal Consulting. Before launching Beal Consulting in 1991, Ms. Beal was vice president of The Beal Companies, a real estate development and management firm, where she was responsible for managing a portfolio of equities, bonds and alternative investments. In 1976 Ms. Beal started Financial Education Seminars to introduce women to the basic concepts of personal financial decision-making. These seminars were taught by professors from the business schools of  Boston University, Harvard, and MIT.

Ms. Beal currently serves on the Investment Committees of the Appalachian Mountain Club and the New England Conservatory, and she is a past member of the Investment Committee of the Museum of Fine Arts - Boston, and WGBH (Boston's PBS channel). She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Boston Harbor Island Alliance, the North Bennet Street School, the Municipal Arts Society
of New York, and is a past member of the National Council of the Shakespeare Theatre. She is a Trustee Emerita of WGBH and is on the Advisory Committee of the Appalachian Mountain Club and LeAp (Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, NY). Ms. Beal earned a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College, an MBA from Boston University, and holds a Series 7 License.

 

Catherine A. McKenna, Vice President

Ms. McKenna joined Beal Consulting in 1999 and with Ms. Beal is responsible for investment research and portfolio construction. She also oversees business operations and client services. Prior to joining Beal Consulting, Ms. McKenna worked in national sales and marketing for HOSTAR Marine, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art hydraulic boat trailers. Ms. McKenna majored in political science at Boston College, is a Registered Investment Adviser, holds a Series 65 License, and is a 2015 Level II candidate in the CFA program. She is the chair of the Jordan Hospital Club (Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth) Polar Plunge Committee, and is active in several other not-for-profit organizations.
