Enid L. Beal, Chairman

Ms. Beal is the chairman and founder of Beal Consulting. Before launching Beal Consulting in 1991, Ms. Beal was Vice President of The Beal Companies, a real estate development and management firm, where she was responsible for designing and managing their portfolio of stocks, bonds, venture capital, private equity and other alternative investments. In 1976 Ms. Beal started Financial Education Seminars to introduce women to the basic concepts of personal financial decision-making. These seminars were taught by professors from the business schools of Boston University, Harvard, and MIT.

Ms. Beal is an Overseer of the Appalachian Mountain Club, where she serves on the Investment Committee; she is a Trustee of the New England Conservatory, where she serves on the Investment Committee; and she is currently a Trustee Emerita of WGBH (Boston’s PBS Channel), where she had been a Trustee and served on their Investment Committee. She is a former Overseer of the Museum of Fine Arts-Boston, where she served on the Investment Committee. Additionally, she is a past director of the Boston Harbor Island Alliance (currently Boston Harbor Now); a past member of the Board of Advisors of the North Bennet Street School; a past director of the Municipal Arts Society of New York; and a past member of the National Council of the Shakespeare Theatre. Ms. Beal earned a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College, an MBA from Boston University, and holds a Series 65 License.

 

Catherine A. McKenna, President

Ms. McKenna joined Beal Consulting in 1999 and with Ms. Beal is responsible for investment research and portfolio construction. She also oversees business operations and client services. Prior to joining Beal Consulting, Ms. McKenna worked in national sales and marketing for HOSTAR Marine, a manufacturer of state-of-the-art hydraulic boat trailers. Ms. McKenna majored in political science at Boston College, is a Registered Investment Adviser, holds a Series 65 License, and is a 2020 Level II candidate in the CFA program. She is the president of the Jordan Hospital Club (Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth), and is active in several other not-for-profit organizations.
